Yes, absolutely. EarlyLight is completely free for all high school students. We believe financial barriers shouldn't prevent access to college guidance.
Can I choose which colleges or students I talk to?
You'll be matched based on your interests—like major, region, or extracurriculars. If you want to talk to someone from a specific school, we'll do our best to make it happen.
Is it anonymous?
Yes. College students don't see your phone number or personal information. All conversations are moderated and monitored to ensure respectful and safe interactions.
What if my school isn't partnered yet?
Please reach out to us directly. We're actively working to expand our school partnerships and would be happy to connect with your school administrators.
Who are the college students I'll talk to?
Our college student mentors are current undergraduates and graduate students from universities across the country. They're selected based on their academic success, communication skills, and passion for helping high school students navigate the college process.
